Communicating social and environmental impacts and activities with clarity and completeness.

How is this calculated?

Level 1: Build a foundation and set ambitions

The brand publicly shares its strategic narrative around sustainability and has published versions of its CoC, RSL and MRSL on its website. The brand communicates the environmental and social impacts of its collections at point of sale to its consumers. These foundational activities have resulted in a level 1 score of 93%.

Level 2: Make steady progress

Through the publication of it CSR reports, WE Fashion has set targets to manage human rights, labour standards and the environmental impact in its supply chain. The brand tracks its progress on meeting these targets. The brand has disclosed its suppliers delivered for the supply chain mapping of CMT factories for the Dutch Textile Covenant, but there is an opportunity for the brand to also make this information publicly available on their own website. These activities have resulted in a level 2 score of 55%.

Level 3: Adopt best practice

This year WE Fashion has chosen to assess itself against level 1 and 2 only and did not submit evidence for level 3, which evaluates best practice.
